🔬 How We Tested

Reviewer: Markus Jalmerot

Test Date: October 6, 2026

Test Mode: Demo/Play Money

RTP Version: 94.02%

Devices: Desktop

Features Tested:

Played until I hit the bonus game twice, with two difference bet sizes, 0.10 USDT per spin and then 0.2 USD per spin. Tried the bonus game twice in a natural manner by just playing the ordinary game where you don't win unless you enter the bonus game. On a third attempt, I also tried to buy a bonus game. It's a similar experience each time, with respins until you hit the bonus game win.

Advantages of Only Coins

✓ A compact and readable 3x3 grind layout with nine positions, makes it easier to follow cash values and locked symbols.

✓ The detault RTP option is 96.03%, giving a theoretical house edge of 3.97%. Players should confirm that the casino uses this version. See our test below to find out how.

✓ Medium rate volatility level making it a good option for player who prefer this profile to games.

✓ Successful bonus landings reset the counter which begins with three respins. Qualifying symbol landings restore the counter to three.

✓ Collect symbols can combine several prizes from across the grind, including other Collect symbols, creating potential for accumulated rewards within the same feature.

✓ The walking multiplier doubles covered prizes, adding a new layer to the bonus.

✓ Sticky mystery symbols add variety to reveals, rather than always producing the same type of prize.

✓ There are four clearly defined jackpot awards starting from mini (10x), Minor (20x), Major (50x) and Grand (500x).

✓ It's possible to try the free demo game below to explore how it works without using real money. Take it as an opportunity to test the game throughout.

Disadvantages

✗ No orginary base game payouts, which is quite unusual. Any coins appering during the main game do not produce contentional line wins. Players that enjoy smaller payouts between bonuses may find this structure frustrating.

✗ Substancially lower RTP versions are available with the 92.03% configuration giving a theoretical house edge of 7.97%.

✗ The bonus can end after three unsuccessful respins, making the counter reset depending on the qualifying symbols.

✗ The maximum 2,000x ceiling limits the payouts, which is higher in many other games from Gamzix. You should remember that a higher ceiling says nothing about the probability to reach it.

✗ The jackpots are fixed awards and should not be confused with progressive jackpots that grows. The listed values are stake multipliers. Players looking for a network jackpot should understand the difference.

✗ Repeated bonus buys can add up quickly where for instance 10 bonus buys at 1 USDT per stake, where each round cost 30 USDT means 300 USDT spent before accounting for any returns.

✗ Heap of coins is a chance-based trigger and should not be interpreted as a promise that the bonus will activate after a known number of spins.

✗ Mystery prizes remain uncertain until revealed and you should never expect a payout before seeing the bonus game end.

✗ Only Coins can give limited novelty for players familiar with Sticky Mystery and Heap of Coins features.

About the slot

Only Coins doesn't have regular paying icons, which simplifies the grid. The only time icons pay when they land on the reels is during the Bonus Game. Other symbols are present, though, in the main game. Mystery symbols are sticky, meaning when they appear, they lock into the main game until the Bonus Game activates.

When the bonus round ends, the icons reveal 1 to 9 times the wager. Alternatively, they can show a jackpot, which could be 10x, 20x, or 50x the total bet. Another feature you can trigger on Only Coins for big wins is Collect. The symbol only lands in the Bonus Game. When the Collect icon appears, it gathers all values represented on the reels.

The Heaps of Coins feature activates when any bonus symbol appears on an active row while playing the main game. Heaps of Coins creates extra bonus icons to trigger the Bonus Game. Another way Only Coins boosts winning potential is by doubling prizes. It achieves this through the Walking Multiplier Frame. This symbol has to appear simultaneously with the Collect feature. After Collect gathers all values, the Walking Multiplier doubles them. Only Coins bet limit is 0.10 to 100.

More about Only Coins

The Bonus Game and jackpots are the slot's redeeming features. You can buy a bonus round at 30 times your bet for instant access. Without the Buy Bonus feature, the Bonus Game is triggered by three bonus symbols landing in an active row. Only Coins has four jackpots - Mini, Minor, Major, and Grand.

The games have different values and appear randomly during the bonus mode. Play Only Coins for free to get a feel for how the different features influence gameplay.

Although Gamzix doesn't do too much with the theme, Only Coins has a sleek, sophisticated interface. The blue theme is relaxed, with no need for a soundtrack. Nevertheless, the slot has generic sounds that include clinking coins. If you are new to online slots, Only Coins is a decent introduction to the genre.

It's also interesting enough to cater to intermediary players looking for medium-paced action. The Bonus Game and jackpots give the slot an edge. Play Only Coins on your iPhone, laptop, Android tablet or iPad without a download. Multiple languages and currencies are supported, catering to players across regions. Only Coins has an RTP that fluctuates between 92% and 96%.
