Located 9 minutes from Gibraltar Airport and a few minutes walk from the borders of Spain, you’ll find Ocean Village in no time. If there are no direct flights from your hometown to Gibraltar, then Malaga Airport in Andalucia or Jerez Airport outside Cadiz can be two reasonable alternatives with less than two hours travel by car. Depending on where you travel from, below are some further suggestions:
From London, UK: Both British Airways and EasyJet fly from either London Gatwick or London Heathrow to Gibraltar and it takes around 3 hours to get there.
From Manchester, UK: EasyJet got direct flights, while British Airways only got options with stop-over in London. The journey takes slightly over 3 hours with EasyJet.
Bristol: There are direct flights from Bristol as well, taking around 2 hours and 40 minutes.
From Barcelona: A flight to Malaga Airport, followed by car or bus to Gibraltar is the most popular alternative.
Tangier, Morocco: The ferry from Tangier to Gibraltar takes 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Lisbon: Personally I prefer to drive to Gibraltar from Lisbon, but there are flights to Malaga and then you can take a bus from there.
