Mario Paladini was born in Argentina, but moved abroad early to study in the U.S and later in Germany. He can be described as a networker and entrepreneur, but also a social trader on eToro – which will be discussed more below. Mario organise networking events with Club Globals, often with a tech or crypto theme and is also a World Innovation Forum Ambassador.
You will easily recognise Mario Paladini, since he uses colourful glasses to keep his focus and reach preset milestones, while helping to open conversations and being memorable at the same time. He initially began with huge black glasses, but when evolving he changes the colour. Now, Mario is on his sixt colour of glasses which happens to be green. The green glasses can be seen as a bit more adventurous and active, represent sustainability and nature, together with diversity and integration. How long have you been trading?
I have been trading forex, stocks and crypto for 5 years. Was initially using Metatrader before going to eToro, but for user friendly trading with a wide range of instruments – it’s hard to beat eToro. Crypto Lists can reveal that Mario Paladini was promoted to become a trader that others could copy about 1 year ago, since he was beating the main indices which have been his main goal.
Which are you favourite currencies to trade?
When it comes to forex – GBP, USD, EUR, NZD, AUD and JPY are the main currencies that I follow. Some of the most interesting currency pairs include GBP/NZD, GBP/AUD, GBP/JPY, EUR/NZD and NZD/USD.

What about crypto currencies: Where do you invest?
Mario explain that he is currently long in Bitcoin (BTC), ETH, Tron (TRX), ADA, Solana (SOL) and Decentraland (MANA) to name a few. When asking him about percentages for crypto vs other investments, he try to stay with around 15% of the portfolio’s total value in crypto coins.

What is your investment strategy?
Trading is done with a proprietary algorithm: Scores from fundamental analysis is based on principles of value investing from Buffet, Graham and Lynch to name a few. It has been developed with a German partner and is based on fundamental, technical and sentimental analysis. 80% of the portfolio is based on value investing, while 20% is in crypto at the moment. Many of the shares where Mario invest also get dividends. He aiming to go for medium risk (5/10) and the yearly target is to beat major indices.
When do you expect the crypto winter to be over?
Markus at Crypto Lists says: My own guess is between 5-6 months up to 1 year.

Do you ever go short?
I have short some opportunistic short positions for stocks, but mainly go long when it comes cryptocurrencies.
Any advice for new traders without experience in copy trading?
Mario Paladini says: Copy someone where you can feel identify with its strategy, risk management and portfolio.
