When we began writing about 2024 at the start of the year, Crypto Lists expected that way more traditional online casinos would start accepting crypto and a higher degree of newly launched casinos would be completely crypto focused compared to in the beginning of 2023. And, we were right! But, that’s not to say there weren’t some disappointments too.
2024’s Crypto Casino Trends
2024 was a groundbreaking year for the crypto casino industry. From the rise of anonymous gambling platforms to the explosion of meme coin casinos, last year helped to shape the future of crypto iGaming in more ways than one. But what exactly stood out the most?

One site we really looked forward to was the Telegram-only casino Playgram that’s completely no-KYC and only requires an account with the messaging service. But, it’s not so great with deposit times which was a bit disappointing and meant we had to adjust their rating downward.
Another important site to mention for this month is Spin Buffalo as it’s available in loads of regions around the world and is popular in the North American market too. While Winshark sounded amazing it simply didn’t deliver as we expected and Sensei Game also just wasn’t as Japanese-themed as the name suggested, which was a bit of a minor letdown. Q2 2024
In June 2024, Galactix was launched and let us down a little bit because despite having a fairly libertarian approach to sign up and verification, they only had a couple of game developers compared to their recently-launched competitors. And a lack of altcoins apart from a small handful. On the plus side for June, there were some top sites like Crypto Rush – a site that really embraces the Web3 ethos. no KYC when you sign up – just need to click an email link, super simple. And on top of that super-fast digital withdrawals, which always go down a treat with Crypto Lists!
Another site that promised a lot, and certainly looks the part, is Wonaco (read more). Conjuring up ideas about F1 drivers and glamorous yachts, the casino was OK but certainly not on Monte Carlo levels!
A couple of honorable mentions include Punterz, R7 and Playbet.
In May 2024, there was one site launched that piqued our interest called Hello My Win. It’s another of those new bitcoin casinos that sounds like you’ll always win, but in reality that is obviously not true. Just like the name, the casino itself was a bit of a disappointment with a mediocre design and nothing particuarly special about the games or rewards unfortunately. Another let down was Bull Run Bets – which we assumed was in anticipation of the bull run, but it was quite a disappointment so we lowered their rating after a few weeks.
But, there were some nice treats too. Hexabet burst on to the scene with a nice welcome, a sportsbook, Solana and others as deposit methods, plus a very impressive VIP program, with 30 levels and amazing perks like birthday cash bonuses and more. Not bad! There was also Gamix that came with a really cool retro video game design and loads of crypto deposit methods and tons of games too!
In April 2024, there were tons of brands launched actually. Some good, some not so good. A couple of standout ones to mention would be Lunu Bet and BDM Bet on the positive side of things and Joya and Happy Slots on the more negative side of things. The reason? Names that make you feel joyous or indeed happy, but then the casinos themselves were somewhat of a letdown. Oh well, perhaps the rest of 2024 had better things in store?
Q1 2024
In March 2024, only one Bitcoin casino site stands out, if we’re talking about brands with a global audience. Yes, it’s the 100% anonymous new casino site Cryptorino (see our review). A Finnish site, Kunkku Kasino (see review) also went live in March, alongside Masterplay (learn more), but that’s it.
We were probably the only review site that actually mentioned ETH Casino and their launch in March. We mention all the best and newest sites in order to please our visitors. Happy readers are all that matters to us. Last but not least we have to mention Lucky Max with their 9000 games and Kripty Casino too that seems to have every new game going!

There was also Monkey Tilt (review), which promised so much but ended up delivering so little. A big disappointment for the team at Crypto Lists as we had high hopes that weren’t met at all.

Do you have any favorite new BTC casinos from 2024?
Of course! The aforementioned Casino Punkz has splashed on to the scene with aplomb and Cryptorino has also been a standout for us. Both of them require no KYC even on withdrawal so that’s always a plus for us.
Some others with big potential include Wall Street Memes – or WSM (review) for short – has really proved popular with a younger crowd and hopefully 2025 will see it go from strength to strength. Since we have no ties and are able to make independent reviews, Crypto Lists recommends Playgram if you want to try a genuine Telegram casino with generous bonuses. 2024 was a year when a big range of “animal related” crypto casinos was released. If Markus from Crypto Lists should make some bold predictions, here are some of the new crypto casino brands from 2024 that we believe in the least, for a range of reasons.
Monkey Tilt (review) is still live, but for how long? They claimed to have 30 million in venture capital to get started from Pantera Capital. The only problem? Monkey Tilt didn’t manage to figure out which countries to accept and blocked over 85% of the major countries from the beginning. The founders seems clueless about online gambling and while the name and look is really cool, Monkey Tilt is just one of those boring bitcoin casinos that nobody wants to play at.
Scorpio Casino (review) is currently showing as offline once in a while, and that is a really bad sign, especially when they don’t send out emails about it and warn their players. This makes us think that Scorpio Casino have some serious issues, and might not last very long. It was the first crypto casino released in 2024 and went live already the 1st of January 2024.
