About the slot
The "MegaWOOF" feature in this game is what other titles would refer to as Megaways. It means that, while the grid has six fixed columns, the number of rows will vary: a column can have between two and eight symbols, and the number will change between spins. Beyond this, much of the gameplay elements are re-used from the original Dogmasons. The low-value symbols are A, K, a collar and a dogfood-plate; the high-value symbols are four dapper-doggy characters.
The Wild symbol is a hairless cat, while the Scatter (which activates Free Spins if you land four or more) is a gold bone. A more novel element is the Gold Ball symbol: land six or more to trigger the Dog Respin feature; this includes the blue Scratch symbol, which splits larger symbols into smaller fragments. The Free Spins round also has multiple Wilds.
More about Dogmasons MegaWOOF
Some might be disappointed that Dogmasons: MegaWOOF reuses so many of its graphical elements from the original Dogmasons. Yes, this is a sequel, but there are slot sequels which take the time to offer graphical overhauls. On the positive side, everything that made the original game such quirky fun is intact. The theme of a secret society run by wealthy cartoon dogs is irresistible offbeat, and the background, music and so forth all fit the mood.
The addition of the Megaways-like element helps to distinguish it from the original Dogmasons, while the Dog Respin feature sets it apart from the many other slot games that use Megaways or similar structures. If you feel impatient, then Popiplay has included a Buy Bonus feature which allows you to skip ahead to either Free Spins or Dog Respins for a small fee.
