Markus Jalmerot has worked with online gambling since the mid-2000s. One of his earliest iGaming projects was PokerVM.se, a Swedish website covering the World Series of Poker and online poker, which he was involved with by 2006.
He later worked professionally with SEO and online marketing for major poker properties, including Full Tilt Poker and Poker.se, alongside broader roles in search marketing and affiliate marketing.
In 2015, Markus founded and developed the New Casinos network, initially focusing on Sweden, Denmark, Norway and the UK before expanding internationally through NewCasinos.com. In 2017, NewCasinos.com and related affiliate assets were acquired by Catena Media. Markus subsequently continued working with the brands as Product Owner within Catena Media.
He became increasingly focused on cryptocurrencies from 2020 and is now Co-founder and Editor-in-Chief of CryptoLists.com. Since May 2026, Markus does most of the real money testing on crypto casinos where he evaluates and document the entire journey for players from registration to the first deposit and how long the first withdrawal takes.
In 2025 he and the team won the "Crypto Affiliate of the Year" at SBC's Affiliate Leaders Awards 2025.
