Higher transfer fees than expected
However, the amount credited by Stakepix was noticeably lower than expected. We sent 50.353177 XRP (worth €48.53 at the time), but only €47.93 was credited to the casino balance. That corresponds to an effective difference of around 0.624 XRP, or just over 1.2% of the deposit value.
The interesting part is that Stakepix only displays the deposit in EUR, not the number of XRP actually received. Because of that, it's impossible to see the effective exchange rate or how much XRP was converted internally. Based on our calculations, the missing value is almost certainly caused by the payment provider's conversion spread or the XRP/EUR exchange rate, rather than the XRP blockchain itself.
This is one of the trade-offs with hybrid casinos.
