One of the biggest surprises of the year so far is Pragmatic Play taking their popular Gates of Olympus slot and turning it into a live roulette game. Not a slot with roulette elements, but an actual live dealer wheel with Zeus standing next to it. It goes live April 9, 2026, and from what we've seen, this is their answer to Evolution's Lightning Roulette. You get the standard wheel with 37 pockets, but the payouts on straight-up numbers work differently. Instead of the usual 35:1, you get 20:1 as a base. The tradeoff is the multipliers. Up to 7 Lucky Numbers per round, one Bonus Number, and a Super Booster that can add 10x to your total win. If you hit the bonus game, the ceiling goes to 10,000x on a straight-up bet. That's 100,000 USDT on a 10 USDT wager. See where you can play Jelly Express from our list of the top rated hybrid casino sites.

About the game

The math here is different from normal roulette. Outside bets like Red/Black or Columns pay the standard 1:1 and 2:1. Those are safe. But the straight-up bets are the real target. A normal straight win gives you 20:1 instead of 35:1. That sounds like a bad deal until you factor in the Lucky Numbers.
Every round, the system picks up to seven numbers and assigns random multipliers to them. If you're on one of those numbers when it hits, your payout jumps. The main game max is 2,500x. The Super Booster can randomly add another 2x to 10x on top of total wins. However, the real hook is the Bonus Number. Land on that, and you get 15 initial spins on the Gates of Olympus slot grid.
You need eight of the same symbol to trigger the tumbling feature. Multiplier symbols up to 500x can drop and stack during tumbles. Three scatters give five extra spins. Whatever you win there gets multiplied back to your original roulette stake.
More about Gates of Olympus Roulette
Pragmatic Play uses the same purple and gold color scheme from the slot. Zeus stands next to the wheel, and the Lucky Numbers light up on the table before each spin. The betting time is 17 seconds, which is shorter than most live roulette games. That keeps the pace high, about 85 rounds per hour.
Worth explaining is the base payout. A straight-up win with no multiplier only pays 20:1, compared to 35:1 on standard European roulette. That difference can add up quite fast. Put 10 USDT on a single number. It hits, but it's not a Lucky Number or the Bonus Number. You walk away with 200 USDT. On a normal table, that same hit would give you 350 USDT.
The tradeoff is the upside. That same 10 USDT bet on the Bonus Number could turn into 100,000 USDT if the slot feature pays out its maximum. So, you're simply accepting worse odds on every regular hit for the chance at a life changing number. Whether that's worth it depends on how often you actually hit the bonus. Pragmatic Play does not publish the bonus frequency, but given the 10,000x ceiling, expect it to be rare.
FAQ
Does the bonus round replace my original straight-up win or add to it?
It adds to it. When you hit the Bonus Number, your original straight-up bet pays its normal 20:1 first. Then the slot bonus round starts. Any winnings from the 15 spins are calculated separately and added to your total. So, you get both.
Where do they play Gates of Olympus Roulette, in Greece?
No, the live studio is actually in Romania, but it looks like the old ancient Greece.
What happens if the ball lands on a Lucky Number that is also the Bonus Number?
The bonus round takes priority. You get the bonus game trigger. You don't also get a separate Lucky Number multiplier on top of it. The bonus round itself contains multiplier symbols up to 500x, so the potential is higher than a standard Lucky Number hit anyway.
Is the RTP different for players who only bet on outside colors?
No, the 97.30% RTP covers the entire game. But outside bets do not participate in any multiplier mechanics. You only get the standard 1:1 or 2:1 payouts, which means the theoretical return for those bets is actually lower than a normal European roulette table because the wheel has not changed, just the payout structure on inside bets.
Do the Lucky Numbers and Bonus Number ever overlap on the same pocket?
No. The system generates one Bonus Number and up to seven Lucky Numbers each round. They are always different numbers. You cannot have one pocket acting as both in the same spin. If the ball lands on the Bonus Number, the bonus round triggers regardless of whether you also placed a straight bet on it as a Lucky Number.
Which languages are supported in Gates of Olympus Roulette?
