Cheese Chase Game Review

Mancala Gaming recently released a new crash game called Cheese Chase and below is our quick review of it. For starters, it works differently from most titles in the genre. You won't see any rocket, rising graph or passive multiplier climbing on its own. Instead, a small mouse moves step by step across a kitchen floor filled with mousetraps, and after every jump you decide whether to take the money or keep going. The maximum win sits at 100,000x the bet and the RTP is 95%, which is noticeably on the lower end for this type of game. See where to play Cheese Chase on one of the top rated sites.

A pixel cartoon crash game where you're the mouse chasing the cheese.

About the game

You place a bet, the round begins, and the mouse automatically clears the first position. From that point, every click moves it one step forward. Land safely and the multiplier goes up. Hit a trap and the round ends with nothing. At any point after a safe landing, you can press Cash Out and keep whatever the multiplier has reached.

The four difficulty settings are what give this game more depth than most crash titles. Easy mode spreads the path across 24 traps with slower multiplier growth. Hardcore cuts it down to 15 positions where the multiplier climbs fast but the chance of failure on each jump is substantially higher.

Medium and Hard sit between those two. The 100,000x maximum win is only reachable in Hardcore, so anyone chasing the top payout has to accept that risk. There's no bonus round and no free spins. Everything runs through that one cash-out decision, repeated across however many rounds you play.

More about Cheese Chase

The graphics use a pixelated cartoon kitchen style rather than the polished 3D look most casino games go with now. Wooden traps, chunks of cheese, and a small nervous mouse give it a recognizable look that does not feel copied from anything else on the market. The animations run smoothly and the game loaded pretty fast on both desktop and mobile during testing.

There's no background music running through each round. You hear a trap snap when you fail, a short chime when you land safely, and a subtle rising sound as the mouse gets further along the path. For a game that relies on tension building through your own decisions, the restrained audio actually works in its favor.

Because you click through each step individually rather than watching a multiplier move automatically, the pacing feels different from standard crash games. Each round is short, but having to decide after every single jump keeps you more engaged than titles where you just wait and press one button. The format sits closer to Mines-style games than to Aviator or JetX.

Now, the 95% RTP is the weakest part of the package. Most top crash and instant-win games sit at 96% or above, and several crypto-focused platforms offer considerably higher. Over a long session that difference can add up significantly.

FAQ

What do the four difficulty levels actually change?

The number of traps on the path and how fast the multiplier scales. Easy has 24 traps with smaller multiplier jumps per step. Hardcore has 15 positions where each successful jump pushes the multiplier up much faster, but the probability of hitting a trap on any given move is considerably higher. Notably, the 100,000x maximum win is only accessible in Hardcore mode.

Can I cash out whenever I want?

Yes, after every successful jump. You don't need to reach the end of the path. The only way to lose the stake is if the mouse hits a trap before you press Cash Out.

Is the RTP the same everywhere?

Yes. Cheese Chase runs at a fixed 95% RTP regardless of which platform or casino you play it on. The demo version uses the same mechanics as the real-money game.

Is there a bonus buy feature?

No. There is no bonus buy and nothing to trigger beyond the base gameplay. All four difficulty settings are available from the start without any additional cost.

Is the maximum win really 100,000x the bet size?

Yes, that's what Mancala Gaming claim. So if you bet 90 EUR and hit the max win, it would mean 9 million EUR. It sounds crazy and nobody won that amount yet.
